There is much controversy today concerning Jesus Christ. Was
He really God's Son?
Could God have a Son without a female sexual encounter?
Could His Son come to earth, be born of a virgin, yet inherit no DNA from a
human source? If He was God's Son, how could He become a man? Why was Jesus'
blood and DNA more important than any person who has ever lived and why did He
have to die and raise from the dead? These are valid questions that need to be
The Turin Shroud is traditionally considered to be the
burial cloth in which the body of Jesus Christ was wrapped after his death
approximately 2000 years ago. Turin Shroud is a linen cloth, 4.4 m long and
1.1 m wide, bearing the double image of a man who suffered physical trauma in a
manner consistent with crucifixion after being beaten, scourged and crowned
with thorns. TS is the most important relic of Christianity because the
Catholic tradition identifies this burial cloth as that in which the body of
Jesus Christ was wrapped before being placed in a Palestine tomb. Genomic DNA extracted from
the clothe later tested with radiocarbon dating before extracting DNA.
Now the Scientists have done a shocker which might spark
huge uproar from conservative Christian communities as Jesus's DNA is implanted
in to a baby. Scientists say that this DNA implant would mean that the baby
will have more than 50% of DNA identity from Jesus's DNA while the parents will have a secondary prominence for their DNA.
Prof. Jenin Edgar, who is a lead scientist of the project attached to University of Milan, says that this is a test they were eager to do for for several years. "We
now have a baby with 3 different DNA's attached. Since that was a success, we
have all the reasons and faith to ensure that this would be a success. If
everything works fine, this baby most likely will look alike Jesus".
According to reports the identity of the parents will be
kept secret for security reasons.
"We have never replicated a super DNA or ever tried to
create "super babies" as criticism against such experiments were
huge. This is just a little experiment to see what this DNA means to every one
of us. Everyone will know very soon if Turin Shroud really is the piece of
clothe that used to bury Jesus Christ", Says Prof Edgar.
